Last Updated: 1 January 2026

This Seller Compliance Guide outlines the standards required for all Sellers on AgroCheckout. By posting an Advert or selling goods on AgroCheckout, you agree to follow these rules to maintain trust, transparency, and safety across the marketplace.

1. Accurate & High‑Quality Adverts

Sellers must ensure that all Adverts posted on AgroCheckout are:

1.1 Mandatory Crop, Variety & Grade Specification

Every Advert must include:

Grades must reflect the true quality of the goods and match the photos and inspection results.

1.2 Outlet Location Determined by GPS

A Seller’s outlet location is defined as the GPS location of the Seller’s phone at the moment the Advert is created or updated. This location is automatically captured and stored by AgroCheckout to prevent false claims about where goods are located.

1.3 Photos Must Be Taken at or Near the Outlet Location

To prevent fraud and misrepresentation:

1.4 High‑Quality Photo Requirements

To maximise sales and maintain marketplace trust, Sellers must upload high‑quality, well‑lit photos that accurately show the goods.

Photo Standards:

Required Photo Angles:

High‑quality photos increase Buyer trust, reduce disputes, improve sales conversion, and help Transporters verify goods at pickup.

1.5 Inspections Must Occur at the Same Location

All inspections including remote visual checks, weight verification, and anti‑tamper sealing must occur at the same GPS location where the Advert photos were taken and where pickup will occur. This prevents substitution or relocation of goods after approval.

1.6 Advert Thread System for Transparency

Each Advert has a dedicated public thread where AgroCheckout may post important operational messages, such as:

Examples of cautionary messages include situations where:

If a Transporter verifies during the first pickup that the goods and location are genuine, AgroCheckout may remove the cautionary message from the Advert thread.

The Advert thread also serves as a public communication channel where Buyers can ask questions, Sellers can respond, and the community can flag concerns.

1.7 Public Seller Reliability Score

AgroCheckout assigns each Seller a Public Reliability Score to help Buyers and Transporters assess Seller performance and trustworthiness. This score is visible on the Seller’s profile and on each Advert.

The score is calculated using:

Sellers with higher scores receive increased visibility, faster approvals, and greater Buyer trust. Repeated violations or poor performance may reduce the score or trigger account review.

2. GPS‑Tagged Photo Requirement

All product photos must:

AgroCheckout uses GPS metadata to verify authenticity and prevent fraud.

3. Accurate Descriptions
