Inspections & Verification
Last Updated: 1 January 2026
1. Overview
AgroCheckout uses a multi‑layered inspection and verification system to ensure transparency, prevent fraud,
and protect Buyers, Sellers, and Transporters. Inspections occur at the Seller’s outlet, during pickup,
at hubs, and at final delivery. Every step is GPS‑verified and recorded to maintain a secure chain of custody.
2. Seller‑Side Inspections
Sellers must comply with all inspection requirements before goods are approved for dispatch:
- Remote visual inspection of goods before approval.
- Weight and volume verification using mechanical scales supplied or approved by AgroCheckout.
- Anti‑tamper sealing recorded on video with visible seal IDs.
- GPS‑tagged photos and videos taken at or near the Seller’s outlet location.
- Verification that goods match the Advert description, grade, and variety.
3. Transporter‑Side Inspections
Transporters must verify goods at every stage of the logistics chain:
- GPS‑tagged pickup verification at the Seller’s outlet.
- Seal ID confirmation before accepting goods.
- Visual confirmation that goods match the Seller’s approved photos and videos.
- Hub‑to‑hub transfer verification with GPS‑tagged evidence.
- GPS‑tagged delivery confirmation at the final destination.
- Immediate reporting of suspicious activity or discrepancies.
4. Buyer‑Side Inspections
Buyers must complete the following steps to maintain Buyer Protection:
- Visual confirmation of goods at delivery.
- Mandatory GPS‑tagged video of the full opening process, recorded through the AgroCheckout app.
- Evidence submission showing sealed state, breaking of seal, opening, and full layout of goods.
- Prompt reporting of issues with clear video evidence.
5. AI‑Assisted Verification
AgroCheckout uses AI to compare Seller photos, inspection videos, Transporter evidence, and Buyer opening
videos. AI checks for:
- Matching seal IDs.
- Consistency of weight and volume.
- Visual similarity to approved photos.
- Signs of tampering or substitution.
- GPS consistency across all stages.
If AI cannot resolve a discrepancy, the case is escalated to human review for final determination.
6. Tamper‑Alert System
AgroCheckout automatically triggers a Tamper‑Alert if a seal ID changes or if a package is
opened at a hub or during transit.
When a Tamper‑Alert is triggered:
- The Transporter must record a video immediately.
- The Buyer is notified.
- The Seller is notified.
- The Advert thread logs the event for transparency.
This protects everyone and ensures full chain‑of‑custody accountability.
7. Chain‑of‑Custody Timeline
Each order includes a visual timeline showing every inspection step, including:
- GPS location.
- Timestamps.
- Photos and videos.
- Seal IDs.
- Transporter IDs.
- Hub transfer confirmations.
This timeline provides full transparency and makes disputes nearly impossible.
8. Inspection Violations
Violations of inspection rules may result in:
- Advert removal.
- Loss of Buyer or Seller privileges.
- Transporter suspension.
- Permanent removal from the platform.
- Reporting to authorities for fraud or tampering.
AgroCheckout reserves the right to take appropriate action based on evidence, GPS data, and inspection
records.
